She had the surgery at 5months old. The ICU staff were all so wonderful. Olivia-anne started to come out of the anesthetic with-in a few hours. Apart from staying in Melbourne for nearly 3weeks, it went extremely well.

That evening we were transferred to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and told in no uncertain terms that Jack was born with a complex Congenital Heart Disorder and that the doctors could not give us any guarantees that he would survive. Jack had an ASD, a complex series of VSD’s, Pulmonary Atresia and Double Outlet Right Ventricle.
